Event subsidy information

The Queensland Council of Social Service’s (QCOSS) event subsidy program is designed to provide highly discounted places to QCOSS events to encourage and increase access to quality professional development and training, particularly where registration fees may be prohibitive.

Being offered a place on the QCOSS event subsidy program means the cost of attending the event of your choice will be no more than 50 per cent of the full registration fee, based on the applicable rate for members or non-members.  QCOSS endeavours to ensure registration fees always remain competitive and reasonable.

In the case of Leading change together, subsidies are significantly less than 50 per cent of the full registration fee and allow us to only recoup our costs. The subsidised fee of $180 inc GST includes full registration to both days of the conference and the 60th Anniversary Dinner on Thursday evening.

Approval for a subsidised place is subject to availability of places for an event, the number of applications and the strength of the application in meeting the program criteria.
